My favorite bag is the Gucci Marmont Bag. It was launched in 2016 and the trend might have decreased a little bit right now, but oh my god… the GG logo is stunning. Before 2025, the Gucci Marmont was embellished with a vintage gold GG logo, which I still think is the best. After 2025, Gucci launched the Marmont Bag with a modernized smooth GG logo. I think both are stunning. I especially adore the Gucci Marmont Mini Bag. Yes, it’s small, but it’s super cute though. It can fit your phone and some cash. Don’t go for the Extra Mini size though; I think that’s too small. The Gucci Marmont Bag will not retain value. The last time I checked, the Gucci Marmont Mini Bag was retailing for $1,400 – $1,600 USD while in the secondary market, they were selling for $700 – $1,000. But please don’t consider it as an investment; just buy this lovely bag and wear it all day long.
The other best seller is the Gucci Dionysus Bag. It’s stunning, the interior is lovely, but the canvas version can be troubling. Because it can get dirty easily as well as damaged, especially after long use. The leather version is beautiful too, but there is something about the canvas and the Gucci pattern that I love. Get it in brownish color!
The most classic bag is the Gucci Jackie 1961 Bag. This bag was designed in 1961 and has been relaunched. If you want a piece of Gucci history, then collect this bag for your wardrobe.
Another classic is the Gucci Horsebit 1955 Bag, Ophidia Bag or one of the Bamboo 1947 Bags. All of them are Gucci’s darlings. Any of these bags are good to go.
The best everyday bags are the Gucci Ophidia Bag and the Gucci GG Marmont Bag. Both in design, they are statement makers. You can never get bored of them. They have practical interior pockets to help you store everyday essentials too.
For special occasions, I would still consider the Gucci Dionysus Mini Bag, the Gucci Bamboo 1947 Mini Bag or the Gucci Jackie 1961 Mini Bag or the chain wallets. All of these have elements that represent Gucci’s history or DNA. All of these will boost your outfit and put you in the spotlight.
