I noticed Goyard bags before they became mainstream. I own the Goyard Saint Louis Bag, Cap Vert Bag, Goyard Jouvence Bag. But I wasn’t fond of the price increase they did recently. I bought the Goyard Saint Louis Bag for $1,200 and it’s now $1,710 USD. I still think below $2,000 is a good price though. Goyard bags are kind of unisex. So I see a lot of men and women carrying the same handbag. The unisex versions are: Goyard Plumet Pocket Bag, Goyard Jouvence Bag, Goyard Senat Pouch, Goyard Cap Vert Bag and Goyard Belvedere Bag.
The Goyard Belvedere Bag and the Cap Vert Bag are the 2 most popular unisex bags.
If you’re buying your first Goyard bag, I do recommend the Goyard Saint Louis Bag. The price is still good and I love the quality. The bag is strong and can carry a lot of stuff.
For everyday shoulder carry, I recommend the Goyard Belvedere Bag and the Cap Vert Bag. You can’t go wrong with these; they’re high in demand, beautiful and practical to use.
If you want more luxury and pricier items, go for the Goyard Anjou Bag or the Saigon Bag. Both are iconic and pricier than the Saint Louis Bag that I recommended.
I have also seen some people carrying the Goyard Plumet Pocket Wallet for travelling. This bag can be hidden inside your jacket because it’s flat. You can literally carry important items like a passport or money inside and protect them against pickpockets.
The best Goyard pouches are the Goyard Jouvence Bag and the Senat Pouch. I do prefer the Goyard Jouvence Bag because you can buy a separate shoulder strap at Amazon and attach it to carry on your shoulder. I have seen many YouTube videos doing this.
If you’re a bag lover, I would stack 1 or 2 Goyard bags in my wardrobe. The price will continue to go up for sure.
One thing I do not like about Goyard is that the market is flooded with fake replica bags. Because the canvas is so easy to imitate and you need to look close-up to see if it’s real or not. It’s literally everywhere. But yeah, it also proves that Goyard has become popular; otherwise the imitators wouldn’t do this. But besides this, I love the goyardine pattern.
